Jay Patel has over 6 years of managerial experience within the financial sector. His duties involved managing 20 colleagues, building customer relations and ensuring that the customers were at the heart of his decisions.
Jay has also carried out extensive volunteering, involving community welfare and social cohesion. This involved acquiring good knowledge and understanding of community development and wellbeing.
He intends to bring a hands on approach to service provisions and access to services to this area of care. This led him to Bluebird Care, where he understands that our overall commitment is to provide quality care and ‘good old fashioned service’ at its best.
Jay is a family orientated individual and believes that with his passion in providing exceptional care, he will play a vital role in raising standards and promoting independent living to vulnerable adults, in the Local Community.
I truly feel that we can provide the same level of respect and dignity to our customers as we do to our own family members, ensuring that they are given 100%25 of our time and dedication during the time when they need us the most.

Lead Care Supervisor
I’ve been working for Bluebird Care Merton since 2012. I started as a care assistant then progressed to senior care assistant where I trained as a trainer trainer in medication. Two and a half years ago I was promoted to care supervisor and the role involves managing care assistants, carrying out assessments for new potential customers, customer reviews, customer Hospital discharge assessments, maintaining up to date E-MAR charts, carrying out care assistants spot checks and support sessions to ensure they are supported and given guidance to ensure the service we provide is excellent. I also carry out medication assessments in the office and in the customers home to care assistants are competent when handling medication and carrying out fifteen standards within their probationary periods.
In regards to myself I am a good team player that will help when needed. I am happy to step up and cover care calls when required and I work closely with the coordinator, in making sure we find that perfect care to our customers. I have a good working relationship with care assistants and customers alike as they trust my expertise and knowledge surrounding all aspects of care. In a pressure environment I excel and am relaxed taking control of any situation.
I have been with the Bluebird Care Merton for over three years. I consider my role very important, as I am the first port of call regarding any payroll and invoicing queries. People say, I am kind and passionate in everything I do and I guess that is why it makes sense for me to be with Bluebird Care Merton. I take pride in being part of a caring and nurturing team that has the customers best interest at heart, but also is keen to develop members of the team. I have obtained a vast amount of knowledge and experience over the past years and would like to continue my development within the business for many more years to come.

Assistant Registered Manager
My Name is Steffi and I am the assistant registered manager here at Bluebird Care Merton.
My role involves managing all office staff under our Director Jay and supporting the management team to best support the care team in the community. My role is very vital in leading the teams roles and insuring we are safe, compliant, caring ,responsive and well lead.
I have worked within the health care industry for over 6 years and have enjoyed every minute. I originally came from a nursing background, but from a young age have had a genuine love of helping others. I like to say caring is in my DNA coming from a family of nurses myself. I have always said care is not a job, but a passion that comes from the heart. I have previously worked with a few domiciliary care agencies as part of the management team, working with individuals with learning disability, mental health, the elderly of all age groups.
Joining the team at Bluebird Care I believe I can bring a fresh set of eyes to an agency with hardworking and a strong sense of team ethics. I believe I can also add practical support as a member of the management team. I can bring more structure to the compliance of the business and general growth to an already ever-growing establishment.
Lead Care Coordinator
My name is Priya Patel and I have been working at Bluebird Care for 4 months now, and already I have seen this branch grow from strength to strength. I was until recently a health care assistant in a GP practice as well as a part-time co-ordinator for another company, and I have a history of working in a pharmacy background which I believe helps me today in carrying out my duties to the best level I can.
As a co-ordinator my key role is to schedule visits to all our clients, allocating care assistants with the right skills and experience to deliver the best quality of care and support to each of our customers as well as giving support to our carers, and minimising travel between customer’s homes. Although at time this can be a challenging role I absolutely love my job and the team I work with as I feel we have a lot to offer.
