Operations Manager Nicola Bowditch announced as one of just five nationwide finalists for the Leaders of the Future category.

Bluebird Care Kensington & Chelsea is proud to announce that Operations Manager Nicola Bowditch is one of just five shortlisted finalists nationwide for the 2022 Leaders in Care Awards within the category of Leader of the Future. Associated top care industry publication Home Care Insight, the awards will take place in Birmingham on the 11th of October.

Nicola says, "I am incredibly excited and proud to be shortlisted for the Leader of the Future Award. Having worked for many years in health and social care, I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly – and this has helped set my internal compass, informing my management process. The upward trajectory of the industry is fantastic.”

In her decade with our Kensington & Chelsea office, she has honed her leadership process noting, "We have solid core values at Bluebird Care. Empathy, compassion, and kindness are not teachable, they’re innate. You can teach excellence in policy and procedure. Our customers benefit enormously. I advocate for our team members and their job satisfaction increases – happy care assistants make happy customers. It is a delicate balance.”
