Jazz, the director of Bluebird Care Felixstowe, started Bluebird in the Felixstowe area, because he wanted to provide great care for people in the local community, staying at home who need assistance without having to move into a care home.

Jazz and his family, also run a successful care home business, looking after hundreds of people with Dementia.

Prior to working in Care he was a primary school teacher. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his wife and 3 kids. He also plays regular football, golf and tennis!

Sarah Godfrey

Registered Manager

Sarah Godfrey joined the Bluebird team as a carer in 2018. She then became a supervisor before moving on to be the co-ordinator and is now the registered manager. Sarah has over twenty years experience within the care sector.

She enjoys working for a leading care provider Bluebird and whilst she is now management, she does still enjoy her role as a carer, giving support, care and companionship to the clients.

Leigh Sayers

Deputy Manager

Leigh Sayers joined the Bluebird team as a carer in 2020, her role is to assist the registered manager in all her duties and is available for any staff or client needs when they arise. Based in the Felixstowe office, she really enjoys all aspects of her role.

Leigh began her career in domiciliary care over a decade ago, having previously worked in a care home, she found being out in the community was what really gave her joy and a feeling of purpose.

Since joining Bluebird she has progressed in her career and hope to continue progressing long into the future.


Rachel Madden

Managers Assistant

Rachel Madden has been part of the Bluebird team since it formed in 2018. Her current role is that of managers assistant, where she is responsible for supervising staff and assisting Sarah G and Leigh with their roles.

Rachel first started working in care at just sixteen, where she found she has a natural aptitude for care. With over a decade of experience in care, she thoroughly enjoys working in the local community providing high service of and working for the Bluebird brand.

Sarah Jones

Sales and Recruitment Manager

Sarah Jones joined the Bluebird team as the sales and recruitment manager in 2021. She has a broard range of skills having worked within recruitment sector, sales and advertising, media marketing and corporate communications. She enjoys the diverse role at Bluebird, meeting the new staff and is proud to represent the company.

Dawn Heeley

Training Manager

Dawn Heeley is the directors PA. Her role at Bluebird is to provide the training for new members of staff and to ensure that the training is up to date for existing staff.
