We are extremely pleased to announce the results of our Annual Employee Satisfaction Survey 2022 and delighted with the responses received from our staff.

At Bluebird Care East Staffs and South Derbyshire, we understand that employee engagement surveys are more than just data collection tools; they serve as catalysts for nurturing an open, trusting, and continuously improving organisational culture.

We are committed to improving the way we work together as we continue with our aim to provide the highest quality home care in order for our customers to remain in their own homes. We actively seek feedback from our carers by various means including 1:1’s, supervisions, staff meetings, appraisals, and our annual satisfaction survey. By creating these platforms for our employees to share open feedback, we are giving them a direct voice to the management team. Creating a two-way communication system is a crucial process in helping us to identify what we do well and where we can improve.

The overall feedback from our survey confirms that 100% of our Care Assistants enjoy their role and feel the training and support they receive is adequate to support them. In addition to this, 100% of our Care Assistants feel they are listened to and find the office team is approachable. 100% of our Care Assistants would recommend us to a friend. 

Below are some of the lovely comments received by our carers on what they value most about working for Bluebird Care:

I spent 17 years working in care homes and not once did I ever feel appreciated. Bluebird is the exact opposite. You are constantly told how well you are doing and how you’re a valued member of the team and to me personally that means more than anyone realises. I love the customers and the relationships I’ve managed to gain with them. I love the staff in both the office and in the field. They are all so helpful.

Bluebird have been very patient and supportive during my time with them. I arrived with no previous care experience and because of Bluebird my confidence has grown so much over the past 2 years.

Having the opportunity to do my bit in the community, to have the opportunity to care and to be a valued team member.
