COVID Pen Pal

During the major lockdown, our Deputy Manager Angela, was delighted to be invloved in a pen pal conversation with one of our customers. Below are the responses from that customer. Angela's responses were of well-wishing and photos of flowers, her garden and light hearted pictures of the office staff.

"I have travelled 600 steps on my new treadmill today. Hip Hip Hooray! You won't recognise me and my new figure. Love J P.S. Keep safe and well"

"Hi Angela, I have lost 7lbs in weight. I am quite pleased. The Treadmill is helping me.I spoke to my sister (in Australia) and she is sending me some photos. A (carer) sorted some of my plants for me and cust back my Lupin plants. Love J"

"Thanks for the lovely cards and pictures of your lillies, cat and poppy flower. I feel beeter today. S (carer) is here today. See you soon after lockdown."

"Hi Angela, how are you? I am still under lockdown. My sister phoned. My nephew is in Glasgow just now. I hope for a visit. Keep well and safe Angela. My plants are beautiful and thriving in the back garden. Love and Best Wishes, J"

"To Angela, The painting (on front of card) is of Lupins which is my mum's favourite flowers. My sister sent to boxes of flowers from Roots, Fruits and Flowers (Glasgow). Keep Safe and Well"

A Piece of Cake
The Bluebird Care Dunbartonshire Office in Bearsden hosted a Cupcake Day for Alzheimer's Society on the 14th June 2018. This was an opportunity for staff, customers and the wider community to show their support for a worthy cause and raise over £300. The Bluebird Care Team would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to all of those who made it a successful event.
