Essex Dementia Day

Next Friday 19 January is Essex Demntia Day. Bluebird Care and our Dementia Champion Robert Wallace will be helping to run a local event in Colchester with the Dementia Action Alliance and Community 360.

On Friday 19 January the Dementia Action Alliance is holding the 3rd annual Essex Dementia Day to help make Colchester and Essex a Dementia Friendly community. The 'Lets Talk' Dementia Day encourages as many people as possible to talk about dementia and to help those in the community living with dementia.

Robert Wallace, our Dementia Champion will be helping Community 360 and the Dementia Action Alliance at their stand in Colchester High Street on Friday 19 January. The stand will be there from 9am to 2.30pm and will be located at the top of the high street near Greggs. Members of the community can sign up to become a Dementia Friend or just come and visit the stand for more information.



Those supporting the Dementia Day are encouraged to wear blue in support. Our staff at Bluebird Care will of course be wearing our well known Blue Uniforms in our support!
