Birthday trip to the top of Ben Nevis!
Three of our office staff decided to climb Ben Nevis, to celebrate the birthday of Erno Horvath in an energetic fashion! Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles. Standing at 1,345 metres above sea level, it is at the western end of the Grampian Mountains in the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands, close to the town of Fort William.

Bluebird Care team complete 35 mile cycle ride for charity!
On Sunday June 3rd a number of our staff completed the 35 mile 3 Counties Cycle ride, an annual event organised by the Rotary Club of Bracknell since 1983. The cycle route passes through 3 counties, Berks, Bucks and Oxfordshire and this year raised money for Thames valley Air Ambulance, Marie Curie, Breakthrough Learning and Bracknell Night Shelter.The weather was fine and our team of cyclists all completed the course without incident to receive their medals and certificates. Bluebird Care Operations Director, Cindy Inglis, who took part in the event, commented: ‘It was challenging route, but the atmosphere was fabulous and it was all in support of very worthwhile causes, and we all made it in the end!’

Bluebird Care Wins Bucks Business First Award for Excellent Customer Service
Bluebird Care South Bucks, South Wycombe and Slough has won the ‘Excellence in Customer Services’ award at the Bucks Business First Awards, with the team collecting the accolade in a glittering awards ceremony on Tuesday. The Bluebird Care team were also finalists for the ‘Best in District’ award, making it a very special night for the home care provider, recently rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC.

Bluebird Care South Bucks, South Wycombe & Slough Wins Special Award
Bluebird Care South Bucks, South Wycombe & Slough has received a special award at Buckinghamshire’s ‘Dignity in Care Awards’, recognising its Outstanding CQC rating and commitment to excellent care. The care team received the accolade on the Wednesday 2nd May at The Oculus in Aylesbury. The Dignity Awards celebrate outstanding examples of how dignity and respect are demonstrated across Buckinghamshire. The awards look for individuals, teams and organisations that have gone above and beyond to support people.
