Can you imagine hearing ordinary noises louder than average, having blurred vision and not being able to use your hands accurately? These are just some of the symptoms faced every day by 944,000 people with dementia in the UK.

At Bluebird Care Bournemouth & Poole, our staff are constantly taking different types of training to provide the best service to our customers. We recently had a visit from the Virtual Dementia Tour Bus and experienced what dementia is like. Putting ourselves in the shoes of the people who live with dementia every day was an awakening experience to say the least, and we want to share the knowledge with you all.

We're going tell you everything we learnt and how you can apply it, whether you are a family member caring for your loved one, a domiciliary carer or a Live-in carer, this will allow you to provide a better quality of care and make their lives easier.

Our team members are committed to apply these practices every day to our customers affected by dementia and believe me, they are happier and healthier than they were before.
