BLUEBIRD CARE BOURNEMOUTH LAUNCH NEW CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN CARE AT HOME

The UK population of older people is increasing, 61% with low care needs are accessing this service in their home. In response to this, we've launched our Autumn & Winter recruitment drive.

The population of older people across the UK is increasing year on year, with 61% of individuals with low care needs now accessing this service in their own home. In response to this, we have launched our Autumn & Winter recruitment drive.

Over the last few years there has been a real shift in people choosing care at home rather than residential care across the social care sector, with statistics from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) showing domically care agency registrations leaping from 8,219 to 8,517 in just 16 months.

At Bluebird Care Bournemouth, we support our team in their career development and believe we can provide a career journey for everyone. Whether this is remaining with your customers delivering care in the home, or moving into an office role where you can use your passion for care to help develop the business. Whatever you choose, there is an opportunity to develop your career.

By continuing to invest in excellent training opportunities and career development for our care teams, we hope our recruitment drive will raise awareness across the local area of Bluebird Care Bournemouth and the opportunities available.

Melanie Cohen, director of Bluebird care Bournemouth, commented:

“There has been a real shift in the care sector over the last few years, with people living longer and more individuals choosing to remain in their own home. It is important we are well equipped to continue delivering the high-quality care that is expected.

I believe in offering every member of my team the best training opportunities, supporting them in delivering excellence in care across Bournemouth. By developing our care team, we can look at what further support we can offer our customers and support them in living the life they choose.”

As part of the campaign, Bluebird Care Bournemouth will be hosting an open day at their office in Charminster on Tuesday 3rd October from 10am -2pm.
