Bluebird Care North Hampshire have marked the start of 2022 by announcing our biggest ever annual pay rise for their domiciliary care assistants.

Our new pay rates now mean that a 48-hour salaried contract pays a market-leading £29,203 a year. And with hourly rates between £11.00- £12.50, alongside paid travel time and mileage,we are confident that these increases will further cement our status as the home care employer of choice in our local area.

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we have continued to deliver exceptional care and support to our customers across the region. As a result of this incredible feat achieved by the team, Bluebird Care North Hampshire has been able to reveal this exciting news as we enter into the new year. The pay increases are set to come into effect on 21st March 2022.

With an ever-growing reputation throughout the community, alongside these pay increases we have also announced 10 new job opportunities for local people as they seek to deliver vital care and support to more people in North Hampshire. As we push onwards as a business in 2022, we are eager to build on this with an additional 20 roles throughout the year.

Speaking of the new pay rises, Director at Bluebird Care North Hampshire & West Berkshire, Phil Miles, said:

“This year, we are delighted to be able to announce the biggest annual pay increase in our 14 years of trading across all our employees whether they are a part of the office team or the live-in or domiciliary care teams. 

“This has been made possible by the huge amount of hard work by everyone in the company over the last 2 years to continue to deliver the very highest standards of care and support to our customers in the most challenging of circumstances. This pay increase combined with our unique salaried employment terms will see our full-time Senior Care Assistants earn in the region of £30,000 per annum which we feel rewards them appropriately for the outstanding job they do.”
