Bluebird Care Alton & Alresford, Andover & Stockbridge and Winchester, Eastleigh & Romsey’s Managing Director Norman Murphy represented the whole of the UK Home Care sector by speaking on an expert panel of esteemed guests.
 
The subject for discussion being “What makes a home care service Outstanding?” This follows Bluebird Care Alton & Alresford becoming Hampshire’s first and only “Overall Outstanding” CQC rated home care provider in February 2016.
 
This is part of the UK Home Care Association’s (UKHCA) Annual Conference and took place at Leicester City Football Club’s King Power Stadium on Friday 11th November 2016.
 
Norman was joined by other panel speakers, including Mike Padgham, who is the Chair of the UKHCA, Colin Angel, Policy & Campaigns Director, UKHCA and Andrea Sutcliffe who is the Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care for the CQC across the whole of England.
 
Norman Murphy, Owner & Managing Director of Bluebird Care, said: “It’s an honour to have been asked to speak on this panel and I am delighted that our outstanding home care service is receiving national recognition.
 
“Our aim when we first set out was to achieve an “Overall Outstanding” CQC rating, and I am looking forward to sharing ideas with substantial figures throughout the home care industry.”
