Thankyou for your dedication and hard work in caring and supporting Gil these past few months. 

Dad's dearest wish was to live out his days at home, and we are so grateful to you all for enabling that, and sustaining him through those difficult weeks and months. He came to look on all of you as his friends. 

It is a source of great comfort to us that Gil died at home with his family around him. 

Thank you so much for helping us to achieve this with him.

I would like to express appreciation to all who cared for Carole during the last six months of her life. Caring is much more than looking after one’s daily physical needs. Kindnesses, empathy, compassion & happiness are qualities that all played a significant part in making her final weeks as comfortable as was possible.

Her funeral was a great worry for me because of the coronavirus restrictions not being able to be with all friends & relatives whilst striving for it to be right for Carole. 

However the standing tributes here and down in the village, together with a close friend conducting the service made the whole event as good as it could be. Thank you.

Thank for you kindness and comfort to Carole and me during the darkest days of our life together. At times like this it highlights the value of family, friendship and Bromsgrove Bluebird professional care team -  thank you again.
