What an incredible day we had on Sunday💙
The event is part of a national day to overcome loneliness amongst older people. Hundreds of organisations across the UK come together to host free and low-cost events and activities .
The day aims to combat loneliness by providing free events for older people to try something new and meet new people. Whilst loneliness can strike at any age, older people are at greater risk. According to Age UK, more than a million older people say they go for over a month without speaking to a friend, neighbour or family member.
Thank you and all at Bluebird for what you did for Michael. I have spoken to Michael and he was really bubbly and buzzing about the day, Please thank everyone, on our behalf who made his day memorable and clearly good fun.

We celebrated #SilverSunday with a wonderful Lamb Roast Dinner in memory of a wonderful customer who sadly passed away, followed by Strawberry Cheesecake or Profiteroles and Cream.
We had lots of customers attend the free event. We enjoyed lots of laughs and chatter with some dancing, singing, bingo and a quiz.
