10th April 

We had a surprise celebration for Katherina who has worked with Bluebird Care Westminster and City of London for 5 years.


30th April 

We held a *dignity in care* workshop at our offices where care assistants shared experiences and focussed on how to promote person centred care within the service. They then signed up to be Dignity Champions with the Dignity in Care organisation. 


26th May
In May we supported Dementia Action Week, raising awareness of dementia and holding dementia friends sessions for staff and customers. 


26th June 
We published an article on line challenging gender stereotypes and focussing on the male care workers in the company and promoting men in care. 


28th June 
We took part in SouthWest Fest, South Westminster’s community festival by holding a dementia friends awareness and cake stall at the St Saviour’s Church BBQ, raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society. 


31st July 
We have started making how to videos to encourage and show care staff and customers how to make simple nutritious meals in a short space of time.
