Our Bluebird Care Walsall Team consists of company owners Amardeep & Sonia Heer, our fantastic office team who support our customers and staff, and our friendly Care Assistants who are out delivering excellent high quality care to customers in their own homes all 365 days of the year.

Amardeep & Sonia Heer

Owners and Directors

Amardeep and his wife Sonia are the owners and directors of Bluebird Care Walsall.

After the completion of their degrees and working for several years within their family businesses, Sonia (Psychology and Sociology BSc Hons) and Amardeep (Business Economics BA Hons) wanted to put their gained experience, knowledge and skillsets to use by doing something that would positively impact on others’ lives and decided to join the Bluebird Care network and open Bluebird Care Walsall.

Sonia’s comments

We are a young and proactive team, Walsall is our home and providing care for the area’s residents is our vocation. Bluebird Care Walsall gives you the best of both worlds, we're a locally owned and operated business and by being a part of the highly respected national Bluebird Care homecare organisation, it means we can bring our customers the kind of care, innovation and forward thinking that’s setting industry-leading standards in the sector.


Amardeep’s comments

It is my firm belief that developing a well-trained, supported and most importantly happy team of Care Assistants will allow us to fulfil our goal of becoming the foremost provider of homecare in the Black Country. We work alongside families and individuals to tailor our services to help our customers stay in control of their own care for as long as they are able to. Delivering the very best homecare is our passion, and we strive to achieve this every day.

 

It is important to Amardeep and Sonia that the homecare services that Bluebird Care Walsall deliver are consistently delivered to a high standard. “Good old fashioned service” is not just a tag line, we mean it!

Vicki Smith

Registered Care Manager

Vicki is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has ultimate responsibility for the wellbeing of our customers and staff. She ensures that day-to-day services are efficient and in-line with rigorous industry complaince standards. 

Vicki is commited to taking on a visible leadership role and promoting our person-centred care ethos. She enjoys working closely with our customers and thier loved ones and strives to go above and beyond in providing information, advice, and support to customers and thier families.  

Chelsea Rathbone

Customer Assessment Manager and Lead Care Co-ordinator

Chelsea has over 15 years of experience in the care sector and is a qualified Counsellor holding qualifications in end of life and bereavement counselling. Chelsea, in most cases, will be the first face that you all meet, as she is responsible for undertaking all customer assessments as well as care reviews and loves spending as much time as possible out in the field meeting our wonderful customers. Nothing is ever too much for Chelsea.

Anneka Goodyear

Recruitment and Training Lead

Anneka is our Recruitment and Training Lead who has a teaching qualification and is NVQ level 3 qualified. Anneka is in charge of all things recruitment and is responsible for growing our team of amazing Care Assistants. We have also put Anneka’s teaching qualification to good use as she is responsible for training all new and existing team members. Anneka also has the title as our in-house IT and Pass System Champion

Katie Wilson

Support Co-ordinator and Office Administrator

Katie, in most cases, will be the first voice you hear when you call our office. She is responsible for our office running smoothly and ensuring all documents, both Customer and Staff files are up to date. She has also recently been promoted and her responsibilities now include co-ordination, making changes to Staff and Customer schedules as required.

Kim Khera

Online Marketing Manager

Kim is responsible for all of our online marketing and advertising, this includes managing our Social Media platforms and spreading the word of the fantastic job that our team of Care Assistants do on a daily basis looking after our Customers.
