This week our team have been embracing Mental Health Awareness week by engaging in a variety of mindful activities and learning more about mental health conditions.

The team collectively discussed myths and facts concerning mental health and the stigma associated with this. They took part in a Mental Health Quiz, and discovered the following facts:

  • 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year in the UK

  • 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (like anxiety and depression) in any given week in the UK

  • 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year in the UK

  • 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (like anxiety and depression) in any given week in the UK

Throughout the week the team have been encouraged to take time away from their desks, to enjoy some “down time”, using the time to read, go for outdoor walks and to colour! All these things help boost your mental health.

On Thursday the team “Wore it Green” is support of The Mental Health Foundation and they took turns in giving each other a head and shoulder massage, this was by far the favourite activity!
