It gives us great pleasure to announce 'Employee of the Month' for December 2023 has been awarded to Sharron Giblin.

Sharon has been awarded for demonstrating an excellent commitment to her role and also having gone the extra mile for a customer.

Sharron has been part of our Bluebird Care Team for just over a year, working on a part time basis. Sharon had no previous experience in care when she joined us but has taken to the role wonderfully.

Sharron has shown a particular customer that “little bit more” compassion and understanding as he was very withdrawn and did not want to engage with care staff.  However by building a rapport and talking about topics of interest and sharing stories, the customer has begun to engage and allow Sharron to support him with care tasks. Sometimes all that's needed is that “little bit more”!

Well done and thank you Sharron, you are a great asset and it’s a pleasure to have you as part of the Bluebird Care flock!
