When we wandered into your office in November to arrange some additional care for Dad while he spent Christmas with us, we had no idea that in a few short months he would not only be unable to return home, but that he would deteriorate to such a n extent that he would spend his last days here. We feel privileged to have found you.
Carol and I have nothing but praise for your organization, and in particular the carers you sent to look after him. He loved Adele who sometimes had to get us up as well as Dad, and who took the brunt of most of his personal care in the mornings; and Ewa, who made his ‘Horlik’ at night. He was also very fond of Bryony ‘the young one’ and Judith who saw him mostly at weekends. There were others of course and he was very grateful to all of them who made him ‘fit to see the Queen’.
It was obvious to us, that although we thought he was special, your staff thought he was too, and treated him with the respect and dignity that he undoubtedly deserved. For this we would like to say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to all of you."
