1 YEAR LIVING WAGE ANNIVERSARY

We are proud to be part of the Living Wage movement as an accredited Living Wage Employer. This means that every member of staff earns over, not just the minimum wage, but the real Living Wage. The Living Wage is an hourly rate set independently and updated annually, based on the cost of living in the UK. We believe that our Care workers deserve a fair day's pay for the care and support they provide on a daily basis in our local communitities.
Since becoming an accredited Living Wage Employer we have increased our pay rates again in line with todays cost of living and inflation.
Martin Lahert, director of Bluebird Care Tamworth, Lichfield, Nuneaton & North Warwickshire, said: "We are very pleased to be able to celebrate being a Living Wage Employer for one year. We are delighted to be able to pay a fair day's pay for our Carers who work with such care and dedication for our wonderful clients. We are fully committed to doing right by our staff and believe that offering a fair and competitive wage and benefits, job stability, and career progression does exactly that which is why we have recently increased our pay rates."
