Staffordshire's Dignity In Care Awards 2022

Staffordshire Dignity In Care Awards at Newcastle Performing Arts College.

We attended the Staffordshire Dignity in Care Awards ceremony on Wednesday 20th July 2022.

The Dignity In Care Awards recognises groups and individuals who care for or support the most vulnerable of us, and who treat everyone with dignity, kindness, respect and compassion.

We nominated one of our Care Mentors - Jenny, for an award in the Community Service Dignity Champion category. This award focuses on recognising an individual who is involved with the paid support or care of Staffordshire adults who receive care in their own homes or through community services. The individual will have gone above and beyond to promote dignity in all they do. 

Unfortunately our Jenny didn't win but we thoroughly enjoyed our day out and even had a little surprise performance from Elvis Presley.

It was so inspiring and uplifting to hear the stories of social care in the communities within the Staffordshire.
