Mark Wright & Mark Lund
Bluebird Care (Sheffield) is led by Directors Mark Wright and Mark Lund. Both started providing homecare in Sheffield to offer customers in the area excellent standards of care and support while remaining in the comfort of their own homes. Delivering the highest quality homecare service and support is both Marks' absolute goal and the team would love to hear from anyone who is seeking homecare for themselves or for a loved one, or would simply like to talk to someone about the services we provide.
Bluebird Care (Sheffield) began delivering quality home care on 23rd December 2009.
Mark Wright and Mark Lund are the Franchisees and met in 1996 whilst working for a large retail banking organisation.
Our experience in managing people and business prepared us for the delivery of very high standards of customer care and service whilst working in a highly regulated environment. We strive, every day, to deliver good old fashioned service and care to all of our customers.
Registered Care Manager
Dan is the Care Quality Commission (CQC) Registered Care Manager for Bluebird Care (Sheffield) aswell as our sister company Bluebird Care (Chesterfield and NE Derbyshire). He began his career journey with Bluebird Care in 2013 as a Care Assistant. Dan quickly demonstrated competence and excellent ability in supervision and management skills which resulted in several promotions through the ranks at Bluebird Care (Sheffield) from Supervision Manager, Deputy Care Manager and then on to Registered Care Manager in 2017. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the sector to Bluebrid Care (Sheffield) and has successful managed our team and care services to maintain our "GOOD" ratings throughout his tenure.
I am committed to the development of the teams both operational and field based and have a keen interest in using new technology to develop the quality of care delivery and the skills of workers
Deputy Care Manager
Lynsey Joined the team in September 2017 as our dedicated Training Manager. Lynsey has a wealth of experience in the care sector with her previous two roles as the Registered Manager.
Lynsey's responsibility is to ensure that she develops and implements a training programme to ensure our staff are suitably qualified & to ensure each of our customers recieve the care and support they need to lead dignified, fulfilling lives as far as they are able.
Over the last two years Lynsey has shown excellent management skills and an ability to undertake greater responsibility thorughout the business and therefore in July 2019 the decision was taken to promote Lynsey to Deputy Care Manager. Lynsey is now the direct line manager for the management team and is the senior manager in the office in the absence of the Registered Manager.
Lynne joined the team in January 2016 as an Administrator and quickly progressed to the role of Recruitment Manager.
Lynne's experience in recruitment came from her previous role as the PA for a company director, she regularly had to interview and make employment decisions which has stood her in good stead for her career at Bluebird Care (Sheffield).
I want to use my knowledge and links within community to successfully recruit the right calibre of individuals to Bluebird Care Sheffield.
Lead Care Supervisor
Natalie joined the Bluebird Care (Sheffield) team in December 2016 as a care assistant. She quickly demonstrated an excellent ability in staff mentoring and training and was promoted to Care Supervisor in February 2017.
Natalie has continued to develop her management skills and was promoted to the role of Lead Care Supervisor in December 2018. She has responsibility for the management of the Supervision Team and works alongside our Care Supervisor ensuring effective management and competency assessments of Care Assistant's. Natalie is also pivotal in the care planning and review of customer care alongside our Care Planner/Reviewer.
Julie has worked for two separate Bluebird Care offices, originally based at the Petersfield office, Julie moved back to her native Sheffield in 2010 when she joined the team as a Care Assistant. Julie's extensive experience and knowledge of Domicilary Care, together with her reliability earned her several promotions through the ranks. Julie took the decision in early 2019 to focus on her home life and family and reduced her hours to part-time and took the role of Care Planner/Reviewer.
She is responsible alongside the Supervision Team for the customer care planning processes and continued review of customer care.
Julie describes her role as;
To ensure all of our customers (new and existing) receive the best service and care. I work with the customer, their family or representatives to create tailored care packages. I ensure Care Assistant's are provided with the most up to date information to allow us to continually provide the highest level of quality care and support.
