Bluebird Care Newmarket & Fenland supported Dementia UK and their Time for a Cuppa 2016 campaign from 1-8 March.

Dementia UK encouraged people to make time for a cuppa from 1-8 March 2016, to help raise money to fund their work with families facing dementia, and to support their specialist Admiral Nurses (specialist dementia nurses).

Dementia UK helps families to face dementia, and the charity’s mission is to ensure that there is an Admiral Nurse for everyone who needs their vital and specialist support.

We were delighted to hold a tea part at our new Bluebird Care Kings Lynn & West Norfolk office. There was plenty of tea and sweet treats had on the day, all to raise money for this great cause.

Commenting, Carolyn Dailey, Director of Bluebird Care Newmarket & Fenland said:

“We were happy to part in our Time for a Cuppa tea party to raise awareness and funds for Dementia UK. It is the only UK charity to offer specialist one-to-one support and expert advice for people living with dementia through its world-class Admiral Nurses. The charity works hand in hand with families, helping them cope with the fear, uncertainty and difficult everyday reality of dementia.”
Thank you to everyone who came out on the day and joined us for a cuppa and a slice of cake!
