Congratulations to our very own Carolyn Dailey!
Carolyn has made it into the Home Care Insight Magazine's 2021 Power List!
Congratulations to our very own Carolyn Dailey, Principal Director, who has made it into the Home Care Insight Magazine's 2021 Power List under the’ Quality and Compliance Champions’ category.
The publication highlights and showcases just 30 individuals from around the UK who have been shining examples of excellence and innovation in care.
The Quality and Compliance Champions category looks to celebrate the innovative directors in the care sector who are responsible for driving improvement and promoting new ways of working across their respective businesses.
Carolyn puts a toothcomb through every customer’s own unique care plan, reviewing and auditing either by herself or another senior director. Her careful work ensures that the highest level of detail and professionalism is captured, whilst ensuring customers’ requirements, desires and needs are tailored for. She has completed several courses at higher level ensuring that she is fully up to date with current legislation with particular interests in mental capacity and dementia services.
To make the Quality and Compliance Champions list, high levels of output should be demonstrated, and Carolyn consistently strives to implement new strategies for Bluebird Care. She has been responsible for the implementation of an internal enhanced monitoring system (EMS) to allow high quality monitoring of vulnerable customers. The system is monitored by a dedicated, experienced director who works proactively to pre-empt and identify any signs of change as early as possible. The EMS reduces the time taken for a change to a customer’s health and their treatment and are spotted early by Carolyn’s highly trained team.
As Principal Director of the branch, she encourages her colleagues to push themselves to achieve their ultimate potential, and progress at Bluebird Care. Under Carolyn’s leadership, one member of staff who began as a Care Assistant at Bluebird Care is now a Senior Director. Her high standards trickle down the business via open communication, strong leadership and encouraging a strong team spirit. She is passionate about providing top quality personalised care, and prides herself on behing onhand at every stage to give constant coaching, mentoring and leadership.
Upon being announced, Carolyn commented:
I could not believe it when I found out. It is always lovely to be acknowledged and rewarded for hard work, but it is not why we do it at Bluebird Care.
The success of the EMS, along with the training and mentoring I have helped give to colleagues, are what I am most proud of. Making the Home Care Insight Power List is evidence that we do things well, and the Quality and Compliance Champions Category acknowledging us proves to our customers we’re always looking to innovate and improve.
Well done, Carolyn. We're all very proud of you!
