Bluebird Care Newark & Sherwood is taking part in Macmillan Cancer Support World's Biggest Coffee Morning this September. On the 30th September 2016 Bluebird Care Newark & Sherwood will be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support by holding their very own coffee morning as part of the annual “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” event.
Bluebird Care Newark & Sherwood is taking part in Macmillan Cancer Support World's Biggest Coffee Morning this September.On the 30th September 2016 Bluebird Care Newark & Sherwood will be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support by holding their very own coffee morning as part of the annual “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” event.
Macmillan Cancer Support state one in three of us will get cancer, and it will be one of the toughest things we’ll ever have to face. Currently there are 2.5 million people across the UK living with cancer, and according to Macmillan research this number could rise to 4 million by 2030.
We are inviting our customers, and everyone in our local communities to join our team for a coffee morning, dedicated to raising funds for Macmillan. We hope are event will help contribute to Macmillan’s goal of making sure no one has to face cancer alone.
Stuart Pankhurst of Bluebird Care Newark & Sherwood, said:
We will be hosting a coffee morning at our main office in Newark to help Macmillan support people with cancer. We will be providing delicious cake and plenty of coffee so please come along and meet our friendly team, and help us to raise funds for Macmillan. As Macmillan say, cancer affects more than those people living with cancer, it also affects their families and friends too. We want to help as many people as we possibly can, so we warmly invite anyone to join us for a good chat, and we encourage you to come along and try our scrumptious coffee and cakes.”
