Meet The Team

Set up in 2021 by brothers Tahir and Arshad Mahmood and their sister Salma Kauser, Bluebird Care Manchester North & Salford was their way of giving back to their local area, by leading a team that would provide quality care to the most vulnerable members of their community.

Believing in a “quality over quantity” approach, as Tahir describes it, the desire to have care workers who want to be apart of the Bluebird Care Manchester North & Salford family is integral to ensuring that personalised care that both protects and respects the people we support is at the heart of everything we do here.

Salma believes that “care will be from our heart” and is excited that she has the opportunity to follow her heart as she has been a main caregiver for members of her own family and wants to use her caring nature to inspire others to do the same within the community.

Arshad has always been a caregiver within his local community, having volunteered through his local charity to help others when needed and is excited that he is able to combine his passion for helping people with giving back to his local area.

Together they recruited Laura Nightingale as the Registered Manager, who will lead the staff team to deliver care inline with the values and beliefs that has given Bluebird Care Manchester North & Salford their foundation. With nearly 20 years in social care, Laura has experience leading services to improve and deliver care that is personalised and where staff are included and where they are given the chance to develop.

I joined aboard the Bluebird Care Team to accompany my family run business.

I believe that the level of love and care given to our own parents should also be given to others.
