Care Quality Commission (CQC)

Who are CQC? And how do they help you and your loved ones?

Before any care provider can deliver care services or carry out any duties to the public, they must register their company with CQC. The care provider must meet several requirements requested by law.

Care Quality Commission (CQC) also encourages care services to improve where required.

Their other roles include:

  • Monitoring services

When looking for a care service/provider, it is always best practice to research the company and find out its CQC rating.
