From my initial telephone contact to the regular visits, the team have been efficient and helpful. They clearly described what they could offer, took on board all of my comments about my mum and have worked hard to dovetail provision. They dealt with any of my anxieties and have moved my mum from someone who was not enthusiastic about the idea of support to someone who looks forward to the visits.

When I first contacted Bluebird Care Liverpool to enquire about caring for my parents, I didn’t think they would be able to provide the level of care required - they quickly proved me wrong. The standard of care my parents received was absolutely excellent, and far exceeded my expectations.

The carers involved were, without exception punctual, completely competent, compassionate and above all, really nice people, frequently going out of their way to make a real difference.

Even as the care requirements changed and became increasingly challenging, Bluebird Care Liverpool provided advice on how the care package needed amending and implemented the required changes, often at incredibly short notice. Never once did they let my parents down.

In 2015 I was struggling to find a way of providing my mum with the care and support she needed to allow her to stay in the home she loved despite the relentless progression of her Parkinson’s disease. As a doctor myself, I was looking for a service that provided not only high quality physical care for my mum but also helped to ease her sense of loneliness and isolation. I was so relieved and happy to see the expert caring skills of the Bluebird Care Liverpool staff who looked after her and the rapport she developed with those on her ‘team’ who she viewed as her extended family. I’m so grateful to be able to support her this way throughout her illness, it really transformed the quality of her life in her final years.

We used Bluebird Care Liverpool for my dad before he passed. All the staff were very courteous, polite and always had patience. My dad had dementia and it was sometimes difficult but nothing was too much trouble for them. I would recommend this service.

The Bluebird Care Liverpool team certainly put the ‘care’ into Bluebird Care, going above and beyond on many occasions. Living a long way from Liverpool it was always going to be difficult for me to find good care for my lovely mum but we struck so lucky when we chose them. Alison and the team of carers could not have looked after her better and she thrived under their daily attentions. She looked forward to their visits and we had peace of mind knowing that someone was always on top of any issues that did occur. I cannot thank them enough for their care and support over the years. Bluebird delivered reliable, compassionate and effective care to mum and helped extend the period of independence in her own home during her dementia.
