Bluebird Care Goes Dancing for Silver Sunday

On Sunday 8th December Bluebird Care Islington hosted a Tea Dance in support of the Silver Sunday charity, which celebrates the role of older people in the local community.

The dance was attended by more than sixty local residents and included live music, tea, cake and sandwiches! A big thank you to John and the team at the Peel Centre (a fantastic day centre in Kings Cross) for the use of the centre and all their help on the day.

The day was a roaring success, thoroughly enjoyed by guests, staff, family helpers, volunteers and the Care team alike. Peter and the team at Music for people ensured the dance floor was packed throughout, while the team at Bluebird Care made sure there was always another pot of tea ready and waiting.
