Celebrating King Charles III's coronation with our customers

Long live our King! 👑 What a great occasion it was for all our Bluebird Care Elmbridge customers and care supervisors who created our own celebrations of this memorable event – together.

Although the coronation of King Charles III took place on Saturday, May 6th, our dedicated team dressed up in royal cloaks and crowns visited our customers during the week leading up to the event making them feel like the kings and queens we believe they are.  

For many of our customers this was an opportunity to reminisce and enjoy some of their unforgettable memories of the first coronation of Queen Elizabeth II many years ago. This visit was a unique opportunity for our in elderly home care customers to remember the Queen’s coronation and embrace the excitement and celebration of our new King Charles III ceremony.  

We know how significant these moments and memories can be, and we also know how much it means to be able to share them with someone. Not only the coronations but also their own personal history. We enjoy many heartfelt conversations, sharing their memories and listening to their past experiences. Our ‘royal cupcakes’ created much laughter, nostalgia and, as always, a sense of personal connection and care with our team who are truly dedicated and committed to making each moment of home care safe and happy.

This milestone marks the birth of a new era under King Charles III's reign and sees the continuation of the traditions, regalia and a new chapter in British history. As always, the enjoyment and caring we have for our customers, and our commitment to keeping them safe and happy in their homes makes moments like these, together - priceless.
