Jonathan & Vanessa Billington

Directors

Jonathan’s family have worked in the social care sector for nearly 40 years. Prior to Bluebird Care, Jonathan spent most of his career in account management servicing large multinationals within the IT and Telecoms sector. Vanessa is a trained therapist with 15 years of experience in providing health and beauty treatments and managing key accounts. Together they share a passion for quality and for ‘getting things right’ for their customers. 

It gives us great satisfaction not only to be able to provide care, but also offer career opportunities to local people who are equally passionate about helping others in the community.

Zoe Buck

Care Manager

Zoe is one of our longest serving employees having started with us as a care assistant in 2013. Zoe has fulfilled a number of roles on her way to becoming our care manager. She was an exceptional care supervisor, and her natural compassion and desire to ‘get things right’ for both customers and staff made her a great asset. She has dedicated her entire career to health and social care, working in Learning difficulties and residential care as well. It has been a pleasure to see her progress to become our care manager and is very well supported by our lovely team.   

Gill Ansell

Customer Services Manager

As customer services manager Gill is the first person that our customers and families meet at the initial assessment. Gill has been with Bluebird Care for many years and was one of our first care assistants, before  progressing to her current role. As well as knowing Bluebird Care and our services so well, Gill has worked with so many of our customers and can draw on all of her experience to ensure that our new customers receive their care just as they would like it. Gill is always happy to share her knowledge with customers and families even if your needs are in the future, it’s always good to be prepared.  

Kayley Ginn

Senior Care Coordinator

Kayley joined us in October 2015 and is responsible for ensuring that everyone is in the right place at the right time. As you can imagine this is no easy task although Kayley with her vast experience of coordinating care in a homecare setting, along with a grounding as a customer services specialist, makes it all look easy! 

Daisy Fitzgerald

Recruitment Supervisor

Daisy has joined Bluebird as our new Recruitment Supervisor. Daisy can’t wait to get stuck into finding the right people to care for our lovely customers . In the past Daisy has undertaken various roles in the Health and Social Care Sector but is now keen to focus on finding the most caring and supportive people to look after a wide range of different people. Daisy is actively looking to recruit carers for our domiciliary care and live in services so, If you have a kind, caring and patient manner, with buckets of personality thrown in ….then Daisy would love to hear from you.

Jackie Boekman

Bookkeeper

Jackie is our Bookkeeper and brings 30 years of experience to Bluebird Care Elmbridge & Runnymede. As well as working for us Jackie qualified in 2014, after five years studying, as a counsellor, specialising currently in bereavement. She naturally has great empathy and a passion for people.
