You only need to have a few spare hours to make a difference........
Our lovely carer Katy spontaneously decided to complete a testimonial for us on her LinkedIn page and she shared it with us. This is what she wrote:
3 months ago I decided to do this👇🏼 I already have a fantastic full time role with an amazing company but I would often find myself with spare time. Some evenings and weekends when I didn’t have my boys, I would spend it sat watching Netflix and annoying others so I thought about maybe picking up another part time job to fill those hours. I wanted something that would challenge me and something where I could help make a difference…. 3 months in this is the best decision I could have made. It’s very hard work and difficult at times but the rewards are just priceless. I have met some wonderful people who have had amazing lives and stories to tell. I have never felt so humbled and lucky to be able to help these people. ❤️ If you are thinking of filling a gap like me, please consider care work and helping your community and others, you won’t regret it!

We are really proud to have Katy on our team. She actually came to use through a friend's recommendation, in fact two of her friends are part of the Bluebird Care team already!
