As we’re opening the new office soon in Leighton Buzzard, we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to bring to light some of the greatest reasons to live and work here!- The Grand Union Canal is a beautiful place where you can peacefully walk, cycle, fish or even take a cruise. There are several pubs and restaurants which back onto the canal where you can enjoy a drink or pub lunch, come rain or shine!
- One of the biggest visitor attractions is the Leighton Buzzard Railway, which is the largest collection of narrow-gauge trains in Britain. The railway offers a 70-minute round trip from Page’s Park to Stonehenge Works, which is in the Bedfordshire countryside, just north of the town.
- Leighton Buzzard Market is held on Tuesdays and Saturdays and is another attraction that brings in a lot of people from local villages and towns. The market runs along both sides of the high street and boasts a wide variety of stalls, from cakes and flowers to meats and vintage goods.
- A large variety of shops are also accessible throughout the town, not only national branches but independent specialist shops too. Most of the shops are located along the High Street in the centre with others leading off down some of the smaller streets. The town also has its fair share of charity shops, for those that like to hunt a bargain!
