Congratulations to Mariana who is our winner of Care Assistant of the Month for March - just three months after joining us!
 
From the start, she has received positive feedback from both customers and the office team, due to her positive and helpful personality.
 
Originally from Romania, she was working in Greece as a receptionist, when she decided to apply for a role with us at Bluebird Care.
 
Despite having no previous care sector experience, she enjoyed working with people so much that she applied for the job.
 
She said: “At first I felt a nervous as I hadn’t done a job like this before, but the training was so good that after finishing it I felt able to start working with my first customers. I enjoy every minute of this job. I am quick getting up in the morning because I know there are people waiting for me to help them and I am really happy that I can help.
 
“Often the people that I care for are living alone and it’s so important that they speak to someone each day. They are a wide-variety of ages, which is lovely – from 37 to 90 and they make the job so interesting.”
