Our customer Christmas Afternoon Tea Party was held on the 15 December at The Grovefield House Hotel.

More than 100 of our customers and their families joined us for our Christmas party on December 15, with children from Lent Rise Primary School and musicians ‘All That Jazz’ providing plenty of Christmas spirit and entertainment.

The delicious afternoon tea in the beautiful surroundings of the Burnham hotel, included Christmas crackers and party hats, ensuring everyone enjoyed a Christmas to remember.

The younger guests provided plenty of festive cheer by singing traditional Christmas carols. They were followed by local band ‘All That Jazz’ who had everyone singing along to Christmas favourites.

Director of Bluebird Care Slough, S. Bucks and S. Wycombe, Anne Inglis said;

“We organise the event each year so that as many of the people that we care for as possible can get out in their local community and celebrate the spirit of Christmas with others.

We urge people to support older people over Christmas, calling on their neighbours, friends and family who may live alone and wouldn’t normally see anyone over the festive period.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who gave their time and for making the day so special for so many of our customers. Huge thanks go to The Grovefield House Hotel, all the members of ‘All That Jazz’ and to Lent Rise Primary School for their terrific efforts on the day - we couldn’t have done it without such great support.”
We would like to thank everyone who joined us for the afternoon, and all who were involved in organising the event.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us here at Bluebird Care Slough, S. Bucks and S. Wycombe!
