Bluebird Care Slough, S. Bucks & S. Wyombe sponsor staff to climb Ben Nevis at night for Alzheimer’s Society

The Bluebird Care team will join a group of all ages and from all backgrounds on the Alzheimer’s Society Ben Nevis Midnight Challenge. The trip takes place from 3-4 July 2015 in Fort William, Scotland.
Aneela, Katy, Renay & Tunde of Burnham based care provider Bluebird Care, have heroically taken up the challenge to trek up Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK, at night, for Alzheimer’s Society, sponsored by their employer.The Bluebird Care team will join a group of all ages and from all backgrounds on the Alzheimer’s Society Ben Nevis Midnight Challenge. Katy said:
‘I decided to take part in this challenge for Alzheimer’s Society because we work with people who are affected by dementia every day and together with Bluebird Care, we want to help raise awareness. I have always wanted to climb Ben Nevis and it will be great to see the sunrise from the highest point in the UK. It will be a tough challenge but it’s great to know that we will be raising funds to help support people to live well with dementia today and fund research to find a cure for tomorrow.’
The Bluebird Care team hope to raise over £2000 by trekking Ben Nevis on 4 July 2015. The trek starts at around 9.30pm in darkness and will see the girls trekking through till sunrise.Jeremy Hughes, Chief Executive at Alzheimer’s Society, said:
