‘I decided to take part in this challenge for Alzheimer’s Society because we work with people who are affected by dementia every day and together with Bluebird Care, we want to help raise awareness.  I have always wanted to climb Ben Nevis and it will be great to see the sunrise from the highest point in the UK. It will be a tough challenge but it’s great to know that we will be raising funds to help support people to live well with dementia today and fund research to find a cure for tomorrow.’
The Bluebird Care team hope to raise over £2000 by trekking Ben Nevis on 4 July 2015. The trek starts at around 9.30pm in darkness and will see the girls trekking through till sunrise.

‘We are delighted that Bluebird Care is sponsoring their team to give up their time in support of Alzheimer’s Society. There will be 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK by 2015. It is caused by diseases of the brain and can happen to anyone .As a charity, we rely on the generosity of individuals like Aneela, Katy, Renay & Tunde to help us continue our vital work. Please back the girls in their fundraising efforts so that Alzheimer's Society can continue leading the fight against dementia.’
