This is something very close to my heart and here's why, working in care ....

.....I have been touched so many times by looking after customers loved ones who have been affected by cancer and I felt their pain and had so much empathy for them and even struggled to keep the tears back at times but remained professional at all times.
Having worked with end of life customers and knowing the signs when my dad became ill in September 2011 my world fell apart but tried to remain as positive as I could but unfortunately my dad lost his battle with cancer in April 2012. Having been left with a massive void in my life I tried to be strong and learned in time to live without him which is still tough but much easier now. Following this my mum was diagnosed in February 2016 with breast cancer and as you can imagine my world crumbled again at the thought of this wicked illness affecting my family once more. Thankfully my mum was operated on in may 2016 and was completely cleared of breast cancer and still has the all clear till now, research into this wicked illness is paramount so please help me raise money for everyone who's lost loved ones and those who live on having thought this.
