Assistant Manager Lottie wins prestigious national accolade at the NNC Birmingham.

Assistant Manager Lottie Treby beat four other finalists, chosen from across the UK, to win the prestigious Leader of the Future Award at the annual Leaders in Care Awards held at the NCC Birmingham. She has demonstrated both her exceptional leadership qualities and the top tier services delivered by Bluebird Care in the Bath and Bristol areas.

The Leader of the Future accolade honours the next generation of talent who are on track to take the sector to new heights. The distinguished judging panel consisted of the top names in care including Professor Martin Green, CEO of Care England, Dr Jane Townson, CEO of United Kingdom Homecare Association (UKHCA), Kathryn Smith, CEO of the Social Care Institute for Excellence, and Vic Rayner, Executive Director of the National Care Forum.

The judges were particularly impressed by Lottie’s rapid development since joining the care sector six years ago. Lottie joined Bluebird Care after sixth form and has quickly progressed from Care Coordinator to the position of Assistant Manager, overseeing two local offices.

Lottie has consistently demonstrated an appetite to develop her expertise, whilst encouraging her colleagues to do the same. This dedication to excellence has recently seen Lottie complete her Level 5 NVQ in Health & Social Care to better support members of the local community to maintain their chosen lifestyle in their own home.

Lottie’s team commended her efforts to ensure that the wider Bluebird Care team in Bath & NE Somerset and Bristol are likewise constantly improving services for customers. She has single-handedly created and implemented contingency safeguards, and often supports her team with care visits to ensure that customers receive consistent and specialised support. Judges felt that this selfless work ethic and willingness to deliver beyond her managerial duties for the benefit of customers epitomised the ethos of care’s Leader of the Future.

Lottie Treby, Assistant Manager for Bluebird Care Bath & NE Somerset and Bristol, said, “I am honoured to have won this prestigious title and to represent the company on a national level, but particularly pleased to bring this award back to my colleagues and customers Bath and Bristol. I have such pride in our local offices and a genuine passion for what I do. The event was fantastic; it was fabulous to be in a room with like-minded individuals all striving for the same goal – excellence in care. It is wonderfully special for leading voices across the caring sector to recognise my work. Ultimately, this award is a shared victory for my local team, whose dedication to our customers drives me to continually aim for the highest standards of care.”

Tim Rowland Jones, owner and Director of Bluebird Care Bath & NE Somerset and Bluebird Care Bristol, added, “Lottie’s success is a much-deserved testament to the professionalism, compassion, and work ethic she demonstrates every day. She is the epitome of the inspirational and innovative care professional that the Leaders in Care Awards celebrate. Our senior leadership team is proud to have nurtured her career on its journey within the company. Lottie is without doubt a rising star and the Bluebird Care family can’t wait to watch her continued development as she pushes herself to deliver the best care for our local communities.”
