Bluebird Care Bath has turned 10!

Where does the time go? We have reached our 10 year anniversary. Happy Birthday to us!

What an achievement, we have been in operation for 10 years, and during that time we have gone from a small office in Central Bath to an Outstanding business that operates across Bristol, Bath & NE Somerset. 

Tim Rowland - Jones, our Director, sent a wonderful email to all the staff members, which you are welcome to have a read of below:

'Dear Colleagues, I wanted to write to you all and thank you for everything you have been doing these last few months. It has been a very strange time, not just emotionally challenging for both you and your own families but of course also the people you care for everyday.

I personally appreciate not just who you are and what you do, but I'm proud of you each and individually and for what you give to Bluebird Care and your own local community. It is what makes this company great and why we have such a good reputation. It is the reason, our customers want to be looked after by Bluebird Care, and it is why we are able to provide such an excellent service to some very vulnerable people in our community. Thank you so much!

This month marks 10 years since the company began and opened its doors in Bath and I am really proud of how far we have come. We have grown into a fantastic service, run by 2 offices full of brilliant people. And like I always say, this is a great business and service, for the simple reason that throughout every level, I am lucky to employ amazing people.

This month not only marks the business' 10 year anniversary, but also Louise's 10 year anniversary! Back in August 2010 it was the start of a beautiful professional relationship. And like every relationship there has been the occasional bump in the road, but it's been quite remarkable and incredibly successful. The business has achieved so much in 10 years, and I want to put my gratitude on record - thank you Louise!'

Louise Taylor, our Area Business Manager has reflected similar sentiments and when speaking to her she said "I am absolutely over the moon to be celebrating 10 years with Bluebird Care, and I can't believe how those years have flown by! When I first joined the company in August 2010 I was so excited to be part of this new business and my enthusiasm to continually improve and evolve the company has never gone away.

"I remember my first day like it was yesterday, there was myself and my Director Tim in our brand new office in Central Bath with no customers and no care workers - you may think this is a daunting task; but I relished the challenge of growing a wonderful new care business along with Tim."

"Here we are 10 years later employing over 120 outstanding Care Workers and caring for hundreds of customers all over Bristol, Bath & NE Somerset. I can't begin to describe what a wonderful feeling this gives me and how proud I am of the whole team for making us what we are."

The take away from both of those lovely messages is that we have created something truly wonderful and we are so incredibly proud to have a dedicated team on all fronts. We would be nowhere without our carers who work with compassion and dedication each and every day, an office team who do everything they can to support their carers and customers as well as the generic running of the business, our 2 incredible managers who consistently maintain and progress the company vision. And of course, a huge thank you to our Director Tim for being considerate and supportive throughout the growth of the company.
