Bluebird Care (Bath & NE Somerset) are delighted to announce they have won an award for their new Carers' Centre Coffee Mornings.
The initiative was started to enable people who are carers for their loved ones to have a short break away on a monthly basis to spend time with other people in the same situation as themselves.
The Carers' Centre said:
The Connector and Builder awards recognise organisations that help to create supportive, carer-friendly communities. Our first Connector and Builder winner is an organisation who have always taken pride in being a carer friendly workplace. The winner is Bluebird Care.
Bluebird are now working with the Carers’ Centre to provide ongoing peer support coffee meet ups, and will provide free care cover to allow family carers to attend a coffee morning once a month for six months.

At Bluebird Care (Bath & NE Somerset) we want to encourage everyone that cares for a loved one that they are not alone and are welcome to come and join us for a cup of tea, a couple of biscuits and some support!
❤️Some people may need a little more encouragement than others, if you know of anyone that cares for someone that you think would enjoy our monthly coffee morning, please do mention this to them - as this is not just for our Bluebird Customers.
