Compassion in Dying

Guide to great death care

It's a given that Bluebird Care will treat those you love with compassion, care and respect and we believe they should be treated in exactly the same way when they die.

None of us are immune from losing people we love and we will all one day experience the death of someone close to us.  When that happens, we will want them to experience the best care possible.  In this situation, very few of us would be in the right frame of mind, or have the time to consider shopping around for a Funeral Director.  Instead, most of us would simply go with a company we've seen on the High Street or heard of somewhere before, without any real notion of who we are trusting, what our choices really are or what we should be paying.

There is only one Funeral Company we would whole heartedly recommend and we feel it's only right we include their information here.

Poppy's Funerals are a local, ethical company, established by Poppy herself some years ago.  Karina, Alice and Neil know her well (she and her team are in the photograph above) and have used her service themselves for both close family and friends in recent years.

Bluebird Care and Poppy's share the same values and we are all determined that excellent care shouldn't end when someone dies. Great death care is important for family and friends who are grieving, as well as for the person who has died. It is important to find a good Funeral Director who will support you to have the funeral and the wider experience that is right for you, offering kindness, ideas and support, and leaving you with the space and time you need.

Poppy's have produced a Guide to Great Death Care to help you navigate the experience, including questions to ask a Funeral Director to make sure you've found the right care for you.

You are always welcome to call Poppy's on 020 3589 4726 with any questions, big or small, to get objective help and support with no pressure to use the service.  They're an amazing group of people.
