Live-in Care Guide

What is live-in care? How can that work for me? Learn more about our service which provides round-the-clock support so you can continue living at home.

Live-in Care is widely known as ‘24-hour care at home’ But what does this actually mean? What does this look like for you or your loved one?

Live-in care is care that is tailored to you. We will support you to continue living life on your own terms, supported by a compassionate, discrete live-in carer who will prioritise your happiness and wellbeing. At Bluebird Care we believe in tailoring our live-in care packages to meet your specific needs, wishes and lifestyles. Our goal is to provide exception care within the comfort and security of your own home, empowering you to live the life you love.

Our live-in carers can support you with a variety of tasks around your home this can include companionship, medication, personal care, and couple’s care. Our carers can also prepare and cook nutritional meals for you to enjoy and support you in your garden with de-weeding and watering plants.

We understand that moving into residential care may mean being apart from a partner, this can be detrimental to both parties and why we have seen many families choose live-in care couples’ packages. Our couple care packages are offered to both parties or for example, if one partner requires more help around the home such as getting in and out of bed that is something that our team are also able to facilitate.

As with our domiciliary care, we never take a one-size-fits-all approach to our care and put our customers’ unique needs as top considerations every step of the way. This allows you to always stay in control of your care and support. Our locally managed live-in care team will ask you what is important about the way you live your life, so we can provide the care you want, the way that you want it.
