This year's Worcestershire Health and Social Care Awards, in partnership with the University of Worcester, took place at a glamourous ceremony at The Abbey Hotel in Malvern.  We are very proud to say that we had not one but two of our Bluebird Care Assistants, Sonya McCormick and Trish Smith selected as finalists in the Domiciliary Care Worker of the year award.

Our Head of Recruitment, Shelley Weston, accompanied our finalists and their partners to the event and we are even more delighted to say that Sonya was announced as the winner!  Both Sonya and Trish were nominated by us, not only because of their first class care giving skills and the high esteem that they are both held in by their customers and colleagues alike, but also because they are both passionate about fund raising for their chosen charities.  

We are very proud of both Sonya and Trish and indeed, all of our highly motivated, professional and focussed care assistants and the help and support that they bring to our customers every day.
