After 10 years of supporting individuals in Evesham and Pershore, Bluebird Care Worcester and Wychavon is set to expand its services to Worcester and Droitwich.

Over the past decade, Bluebird Care Worcester & Wychavon has supported over 750 locals to live comfortably in their own homes, and has been nominated for numerous regional awards for excellent care. In this time, the team even supported one of their customers to become Britain’s oldest person at the age of 112!

Not only will the new service, enable a dedicated team of Care Assistants to support more members of the local community, but it will also bring 30 new jobs to the local area in the next two years. The specialist care team will be recruiting for positions at all levels, including Managers, Supervisors, Coordinators and Care Assistants, and will provide extensive training for all new team members.

Bluebird Care’s new Worcester and Droitwich expansion also plans to collaborate with local colleges and universities to provide career advice and training opportunities to local students who are considering a rewarding career in care. By doing so, the local care team hopes to create a legacy of excellent care and career opportunities throughout Worcester and Droitwich.

Andy Toon, Care Manager at Bluebird Care Worcester & Wychavon, said: “We are delighted to expand our services to Worcester and Droitwich, and to build on our legacy of excellent local care. Our care team is driven by a passion for improving the daily experiences of our community, and we can’t wait to do this by providing additional home care services and career opportunities throughout the area.”
