Grant Funding for Yate and Sodbury area

Published: 30/08/2015

Do you know of any worthy volunteer organisations that are changing lives for the better in the area?

At Bluebird Care, we aim to provide a good, old fashioned service to our customers.  This means sending care staff in to help them out in their own homes, but also to prop up other organisations that also help them in other ways.

These groups might provide transport, friendship, equipment or even sustenance to our customers in the form of meals on wheels for example.

Often these volunteer groups could do with a bit of help themselves, which is why every few months we offer a £250 funding grant to the most effective support organisation in a different area of South Gloucestershire.

Recently the winner was the SHE7 lunch club in Filton, but now we are looking for organisations in and around the Yate and Chipping Sodbury area.

If you know of any suitable contenders, please let us know or invite them to call us on 01454 323 624.
