Customer joy showcases how care at home comes in many forms…
Bluebird Care (Norwich & North Norfolk’s) customer Ken hadn’t played his piano in years until recently when his Care Assistant Marthese asked “why not?”. Ken responded that "no one had asked him to" and that he was afraid he might have forgotten.
Marthese encouraged Ken to try with her as his audience.
Ken took to the keys and was delighted when he finished his piece, you can hear the joy in his laugh at the end!
Bluebird Care shared the video with Ken’s family and his daughter began to cry when she watched the wonderful scene.
Marthese..... you ROCK! Thank you for unlocking this in my dad. Amazing!

Ken and Marthese are as wonderful example of how the relationship between customer and care assistant can improve wellbeing and bring moments of remembrance and joy.
