Bluebird Care Announces New Chief Operating Officer & Managing Director

National home care provider Bluebird Care has welcomed Jonathan Gardner as Chief Operating Officer & Managing Director.

Jonathan brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare services to Bluebird Care, which is one of the leading national names in domiciliary care, with over 220 franchise offices across the UK and Ireland.

A qualified pharmacist, and former Boots UK Executive, Jonathan has dedicated the entirety of his career to delivering accessible healthcare within the community, having always been ‘driven by a desire to help people to feel better’.

Jonathan has spent over 25 years years as a practicing pharmacist after qualifying in 1996, before going on to become Managing Director of Boots Hearingcare and Chief Executive of Boots Opticians – with franchise structures and hundreds of practices across the UK.

Now, Jonathan brings his expertise in leading national franchise organisations to the home care sector as he sets out an exciting vision for Bluebird Care’s network of franchise partners. In his new role, Jonathan will guide Bluebird Care to build on its legacy of delivering outstanding and early-intervention care within local communities.
