Bluebird Care runners beat the heat to complete Hull 10k

A massive well done to the Bluebird Hull and Beverley 10k team!! After getting up first thing on a Sunday morning, they completed the Jane Tomlinson 10k Run for All on the hottest day of the year. Not an easy task!

After getting up first thing on a Sunday morning, they completed the Jane Tomlinson 10k Run for All on the hottest day of the year. Not an easy task!
Despite the intense heat, a great – if tiring – time was had by all, with the proceeds from the race going to a number of charities.
Awesome foursome Vikky, Charlotte, Nikki and Kasey, beat Bluebird's care workers group time last year, while Vikki's time was the quickest since Bluebird Hull and Beverley's care workers began running the course four years ago.
Bluebird director, Mike Thompson, said: "Thanks to the whole team for their efforts. It was a sweltering day but everyone gave their all. They're a real credit to their profession and an inspiration too."
