Working in care is a job like no other and for our amazing team, it is much more than 'just' a job. It is a passion; a lifestyle that drives them to put a smile on the face of people every day. The start of the year is a time when many begin thinking about what that year may bring and we would like to encourage anyone who may have been considering a change in career or giving care a go to get in touch as we can assure that you will not be disappointed!

Working in care is a job like no other and for our amazing team, it is much more than 'just' a job. It is a passion; a lifestyle that drives them to put a smile on the face of people every day.

Bluebird Care has a very good reputation and often our staff join the team because of this. Many may have never worked in care professionally before and the support we provide enables them to excel in their roles.

The start of the year is a time when many begin thinking about what that year may bring and we would like to encourage anyone who may have been considering a change in career or giving care a go to get in touch as we can assure that you will not be disappointed!

Care Assistant Michelle who was a bus driver before working with us explained:
Before working in care I used to drive the 267 bus and actually became quite well known for stopping to get off and help people who needed a hand!

It was after my aunt lived for a while in a care home that I made the decision to give professional care work a go. It was a passion for helping people stay at home that made me choose to work in community care.

I will never forget one of my customers who reminded me of my aunt and really made an emotional impact. It was almost as if it was my aunt giving me her blessing for what I am doing!

I am so happy that I chose to build my career in care and would definitely recommend it to anyone!
Care Manager Halina explained
We welcome new faces to the team from all walks of life and backgrounds. Some have worked in care before, but many have not.

Working as a community care assistant is tough work and certainly not for everyone. It is however, extremely rewarding and makes me go home feeling that I have made a tremendous difference every day.
Everyone who joins our team receives a comprehensive induction, shadowing and support throughout their career. To find out more and apply for a role, please phone 020 8289 2349 or email hounslowandchiswick@bluebirdcare.co.uk.
