Sai's Story

We feel it is important for us to be a big part of the communities our customers live in and therefore, community is at the heart of everything we do here at Bluebird Care. We are pleased to share a short testimonial from Managing Director Sai, about his involvement with Age Concern.
We feel it is important for us to be a big part of the communities our customers live in and therefore, community is at the heart of everything we do here at Bluebird Care.This is not limited to just the provision of care. It includes being involved in, and supporting, various local charities who are also involved in the lives of our customers. Many of these charities provide complimentary services and are also of great value to our customers.
One of these is Age Concern, who provide valuable services to older people throughout the country. As well as advice and guidance, Age Concern have day centres throughout the country and Managing Director Sai regularly works with his local Age Concern day centre as a volunteer.
For Sai, care is not just about the physical aspect and limited to his involvement with Bluebird Care. He has a heartfelt passion for seeing lives positively impacted and this is one reason that he chooses to work with Age Concern as a volunteer.
Sai explains:
Running a homecare business is very different to any other type of company.
In order to lead your team of staff to provide high quality care and support, it is crucial for you to have a passion for care that runs right through your core.
All of the team here at Bluebird Care are incredibly passionate and we all share the same desire to work tirelessly in our caring roles; constantly going the extra mile.
I have always had a heart for serving those in a need and chose to volunteer with Age Concern before venturing into homecare. I have continued to volunteer now for many years and really value the time that I regularly spend time with the guests.
From time to time, I also provide entertainment along with food and it is wonderful to see the huge smile that it puts on people's faces.
Age Concern do a fantastic job in the way that they are a reliable and vital support to many thousands of older people and I am delighted to do my little bit to support them.
