Bluebird Care Gateshead, is combatting loneliness in later life by supporting Age UK’s “The Big Chinwag” event. Come and join us on Friday 19th June at our office.
Bluebird Care Gateshead, is combatting loneliness in later life by supporting Age UK’s “The Big Chinwag” event.Age UK report that more than a million older people in the UK go for a month or more without seeing or speaking to anyone, and Bluebird Care Gateshead are inviting their friends and communities together for a Big Chinwag event on Friday 19 June to raise funds to help Age UK tackle loneliness in later life.
Director of Bluebird Care Gateshead, Katheryn Ranson, said:
We will be hosting a get together at our office to help combat loneliness in later life and to raise funds for Age UK. We want to help people so they don’t feel lonely, so we warmly invite anyone who is feeling lonely to join us for a good chat, and we encourage you to come along and get involved.”
